Three Shires Bitter

(4.0% abv, OG 1040)


A very pale hoppy bitter. Full hop aroma with a crisp fruity taste followed by a smooth bitter finish. The first Millstone beer to be released, its name derived from Mossley’s location where the three counties of Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire meet.

Windy Miller

(4.1% abv, OG 1042)


A refreshingly bitter beer. Pale in colour, crisp hoppy aromas accompany a seriously bitter taste. Originally brewed to celebrate Saddleworth’s Whit Friday Brass Band Contest. It is now, by popular demand, one of the regulars.

Grain Storm

A golden premium bitter. Full hop aroma with crisp pine and citrus notes followed by a balanced dry bitter finish.

True Grit

(5.0% abv, OG 1050)

A very pale and hoppy strong ale. Well hopped using only Chinnook hop; the mellow bitters make way for a distinctive citrus/grapefruit aroma.

A Miller's Ale

A light amber session beer. Traditional malt and hops provide the basis of a well-rounded hoppy bitter.

Summer Daze

(4.1% abv, OG 1042)
Brewed July and August


A pale amber light bitter. Distinctive pine and citrus notes. An extremely moreish beer - one for the summer months.

Hops: Bittering - First Gold
  Aroma - Styrain Goldings

   

Autumn Leaves

(4.3% abv, OG 1043)
Brewed late September and October


A copper coloured smooth bitter. A gentle bitter taste balances the rounded floral and spicy hop aromas. A mellow beer - to accompany the season and, of course, the jazz standard.

Christmas Ruby

(4.7% abv, OG 1048)
Brewed in December


A ruby coloured Christmas ale. Well hopped and balanced bitters produce an agreeable beer at the stronger end of the range … certainly not too pudding-like.

Millstone Edge

(4.4% abv, OG 1044)


An amber coloured premium bitter. A traditional flavoursome beer; well hopped and with a mellow bitter finish. Named after the rocky outcrop overlooking the beautiful Castleshaw valley.

Hops: Bittering - First Gold
  Aroma - Goldings and Fuggles

Square Peg

(4.3% abv)
Available: August


A pale and mellow bitter using the English First Gold hop … a thirst quenching beer.
