Award Winning Beers

The Brewery -The Millstone Brewery restores a traditional craft to the town of Mossley, situated where the counties of Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire meet. Vale Mill, originally part of Mossley’s cotton heritage, provides an appropriate home for the eight-barrel plant that was installed in September 2003. Brewing commenced in early October.

The Beers - Millstone Brewery crafts well-rounded beers using traditional malt and hops. The beers are full bodied, typically pale in colour, heavily late hopped for aromas, and with a range of balanced bitterness to suite a variety of palates. Since launching the brewery with just two beers the range has now been extended to include four regular beers as well as occasional specials.
